G. Argy Rousseau Ceres Bowl
Measurements: 8 cm tall
Information: Those of us proficient in Roman mythology will instantly understand why this is called the Ceres bowl. It shows stalks of yellow grain/wheat growing from the ground. Ceres was the Roman goddess of agriculture. The combination of red, oranges, and purples makes for a very warm piece of art glass. G. Argy-Rousseau designed and first sold this piece in 1926.
Please remember that your specific piece of art glass could have different colors. The style could also be slightly different. No piece is going to be an exact match for every detail.
