G. Argy Rousseau Dancers Bowl
Measurements: 5.8 cm tall
Information: This is quintessential pate de verre art glass. This bowl shows a ballerina dancer in motion. She is pictured four times around the bowl. A relief trim of green glass goes all the way around the rim of the bowl. This is probably the first bowl that G. Argy-Rousseau made that depicted a person (but it certainly wouldn’t be his last). Records show that this bowl was made in 1920.
Please remember that your specific piece of art glass could have different colors. The style could also be slightly different. No piece is going to be an exact match for every detail.
