G. Argy Rousseau Fauns and Nymphs Vase

Information:  This is why it is important to know the names of G. Argy-Rousseau vases. The one we are looking at here is called the fauns and nymphs vase. However, the casual observer would likely have no way to know that. This piece has a footed base, which was typical of earlier French art nouveau glass. G. Argy-Rousseau first sold this piece starting in 1923.

Your vase could have a similar design to the vase pictured but different colors. There could also be minimal style differences. While vases of the same catalog number should be very similar, no piece is going to be exactly the same as another.
