G. Argy Rousseau The Garden of the Hesperides Vase
Measurements: 24.2 cm tall
Information: This might be the single most recognizable piece of G. Argy-Rousseau art glass out there. It was featured on the cover of the main reference work. It is commonly called the apple pickers vase. It shows a woman picking fruit from an orchard. This vase was first designed and sold beginning in 1926.
Your vase could have a similar design to the vase pictured but different colors. There could also be minimal style differences. While vases of the same catalog number should be very similar, no piece is going to be exactly the same as another.
