G. Argy Rousseau Greek Frieze Vase

Measurements:  23.5 cm tall

Information:  This vase was obviously inspired by classic Greek architecture. The red design going around the vase is clearly that of an ancient Greek column scroll. The swoops of purple in the background give the vase some movement that it is otherwise missing. G. Argy-Rousseau first designed this vase in 1927.

Your vase could have a similar design to the vase pictured but different colors. There could also be minimal style differences. While vases of the same catalog number should be very similar, no piece is going to be exactly the same as another.
