G. Argy Rousseau Tragi-Comic Wide Necked Vase
Measurements: 25.8 cm tall
Information: This is a tall vase with a large fluted lip. It shows six figures. The emotions on each face are supposed to represent the laughter of a Greek comedy or the sorrow of a Greek tragedy. Face aside, this piece has a great light color and overall airy feel. G. Argy-Rousseau first designed and sold this one starting in 1922.
Your vase could have a similar design to the vase pictured but different colors. There could also be minimal style differences. While vases of the same catalog number should be very similar, no piece is going to be exactly the same as another.
