G. Argy Rousseau Red Thistles Vase

Measurements:  15.3 cm tall

Information:  The thistle design was used on several different pieces of art glass by G. Argy-Rousseau. The vase shown here might be the only one that is immediately recognizable as a thistle. The leaf of the thistle is green and the prickly bud is red. This particular vase was first designed and sold in 1920.

Your vase could have a similar design to the vase pictured but different colors. There could also be minimal style differences. While vases of the same catalog number should be very similar, no piece is going to be exactly the same as another.
