G. Argy Rousseau Tragi-Comic Narrow Necked Vase
Measurements: 25 cm tall
Information: The central design element in this vase shows a series of red smiling and frowning faces. Those are supposed to represent the two school of Greek drama, those being tragedy and comedy. This is one of two very similar designs used by G. Argy-Rousseau. This one was first made and sold in 1922.
Your vase could have a similar design to the vase pictured but different colors. There could also be minimal style differences. While vases of the same catalog number should be very similar, no piece is going to be exactly the same as another.
